Dr. Kumar came to Roswell Park after completing two separate Fellowships at The University of Miami--Body Imaging and Breast Imaging. Before Miami, Dr. Kumar had served as a Radiologist in the Middle East and in the Indian Armed Forces, after initially training in India, Bangalore Medical College and the Armed Forces Medical College.

Dr. Kumar, because of his dual Fellowship training, is extremely flexible and valuable, moving between Body Imaging and Breast Imaging. His work plan is 100 % clinical. He is skilled in many procedures, both Breast and Body, and has recently concentrated on Breast MRI. Despite his 100% clinical work assignment, Dr. Kumar has been active in teaching medical students and is very well-rated by them.
