Thaer Khoury, MD, joined the faculty at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2006 as a Staff Physician in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine.
Dr. Khoury earned his medical degree in 1995 and completed residency training in Surgical Pathology in 1998 at Damascus University, School of Medicine, Damascus, Syria in 1995. He also completed a residency in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2005.
Dr Khoury's research and clinical interest is breast cancer. His particular research area is HER2 testing.
Dr. Khoury is board-certified by the American Board of Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Certification.
Dr. Khoury is a member of the Fellow College of American Pathologists, United States and Canadian Academy of Pathology and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Khoury has authored or coauthored over 45 journal articles or abstracts.
