Dr. Cornelie M. Jones joined the faculty of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 1985, as an attending physician in the Department of Dermatology.
Dr. Jones earned her medical degree (1981) and completed residency training 1985 at the University at Buffalo (UB) School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. She also serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of the Department of Dermatology at UB; and Staff Consultant at Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Buffalo, NY. She is Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology.
Dr. Jones’ research interests focus on photodynamic therapy in the treatment of cutaneous carcinomas. She has served as co-investigator on several multi-department ongoing National Cancer Institute-sponsored clinical trials for PDT.
Dr. Jones is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology; American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Jones has authored or co-authored several journal articles, abstracts and book chapters.
