Grace K. Dy, MD, joined RPCI as an attending physician in the expanding drug development program in the Department of Medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute and as Assistant Professor of Oncology, Phase I and Thoracic Medicine in the Department of Medicine (2007).
Dr. Dy provides treatment to patients with lung cancer in addition to her work in phase I clinical trials. She earned her medical degree at The University of Santo Tomas, Philippines (1998). She completed residency training in Internal Medicine (2003) and a fellowship in Hematology/Oncology (2007) at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine where she was singled out from all fellows in the department of medicine for honors as the best oncology and clinical research fellow.
Dr. Dy is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, medical oncology and hematology. Dr. Dy was featured by CR Magazine, an AACR publication, as one of five promising young clinician-scientists nationwide.
Dr. Dy’s research interests focus on Phase I clinical trials and novel targets for lung cancer therapy. She is an active member of the American Society of Clinical Oncology, and an associate member of AACR. Dr. Dy is a recipient of the 2007 fellowship award from the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer and a 2008 National Comprehensive Cancer Network correlative sciences grant.
