Nefertiti du Pont, MD, MPH, joined the faculty at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2008 as a Surgical Oncologist in the Department of Gynecologic Oncology. Dr. Nefertiti du Pont’s clinical practice and research interest focus on robotic surgery and the diagnosis, treatment and management of cervical cancer.
Dr. du Pont earned her medical degree from Texas A & M University College of Medicine in College Station, Texas, in 1999; completed residency training at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 2003, and completed a gynecologic oncology fellowship at the University of California, Irvine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology Division of Gynecologic Oncology in Orange, California, in 2007.
Dr. du Pont came to RPCI from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Gillings School of Global Health, Department of Health Policy and Management, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, where she completed a Master of Public Health degree.
Dr. du Pont is licensed in California and New York. She is a member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Medical Association, the National Medical Association and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists.
Dr. du Pont has authored and coauthored several journal articles and peer reviews.
