Dr. David Cho joined the faculty of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) facility in 2006 as the on-site Medical Director of Radiation Medicine at Cayuga Medical Center (CMC), Ithaca, NY.
Dr. Cho earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia in 1998, and completed residency training at New York University in 2003. He is board-certified in Radiation Oncology by the American Board of Radiology and is a member of the American Society of Therapeutic Radiation Oncology.
Dr. Cho most recently served as Medical Director, Southeast Regional Cancer Center and Staff Radiation Oncologist, Capital Regional Medical Center, both located in Tallahassee, FL.
Cayuga Medical Center offers state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment services to residents of Ithaca and the greater Finger Lakes region. CMC is designated by the American College of Surgeons as a Community Hospital Comprehensive Cancer Program, one of only 19 in New York State.
Affiliated with RPCI since 2004, CMC provides radiation therapy services to cancer patients in Ithaca and the Finger Lakes region. Radiation therapy specialists at CMC and RPCI are linked through high-speed digital technology to offer the latest cancer protocols, research and dose planning techniques. The affiliation elevates cancer services in Ithaca and the surrounding areas to a higher level, and serves as a model for community-based delivery of advanced cancer care.
