Dr. Casey joined the staff of Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 1980, as a maxillofacial prosthodontist. He earned his doctorate in dental surgery from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in 1969 and completed postdoctoral programs in prosthodontics (1979) at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Buffalo and maxillofacial prosthetics (1980) at RPCI. He earned his master’s degree in Oral Sciences from the University at Buffalo in 1992.
Dr. Casey is licensed in dentistry in New York State. He also is a Clinical Professor Emeritus, Department of Restorative Dentistry, School of Dental Medicine, SUNY Buffalo.
Dr. Casey’s research interests include cad-cam prostheses development; and craniofacial implants. He is a member of the American Board of Prosthodontics, American Academy of Maxillofacial Prosthetics, the International Society for Maxillofacial Rehabilitation, and the European Association of Osseointegration. He has authored or co-authored more than 30 journal publications, book chapters, and abstracts.
