Dr. Stanley Byun joined the faculty at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) in 2008 as a Staff Physician in the Department of Radiation Medicine. He also serves as the Chair of the Department of Radiation Medicine at the WCA Hospital, Jamestown, NY.
As an RPCI faculty member, Dr. Byun will provide radiation therapy services to cancer patients of Southwestern New York at the WCA Hospital Cancer Treatment Center as part of a collaborative clinical agreement to enhance oncology and hematology programs through research, education, and patient care.
Dr. Byun earned his medical degree from the College of Medicine, Seoul National University, Korea; completed residency training at the School of Medicine, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI. He also served as a Radiation Oncologist at the Susquehanna Valley Cancer Treatment Center in Selinsgrove, PA.
Dr. Byun is licensed in New York, Pennsylvania, Michigan and California and is certified by the American Board of Radiology.
Dr. Byun is a member of the American Medical Association, American Society of Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology and is a fellow of the American College of Radiation Oncology.
