Al-Absi, Eyad, MD
Assistant Professor of Oncology, Roswell Park Cancer Institute
Assistant Professor of Radiology,
State University of New York
School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Buffalo
Dr. Al-Absi came to Roswell Park after completing his Radiology residency at the State University of New York at Buffalo; before that, he had completed a year of residency in Nuclear Medicine at SUNY Buffalo, and before that was trained as an M.D. in Jordan, University of Jordan.
After his arrival at Roswell, Dr. Al-Absi underwent Fellowship training in-house under Dr. Alberico and Dr. Abdelhalim in Neuroradiology-Head/Neck. Therefore, he is one of the most versatile members of our Radiology staff, trained in Diagnostic Radiology and Fellowship-trained in Neuroradiology, as well as residency-trained in Nuclear Medicine.
Eyad’s work plan is 100% clinical, and he moves fluently between Body Imaging and Neuroradiology-Head/Neck. He is skilled in many procedures, and because of his unusual flexibility, he is a key member of our staff. His work with medical students is excellent.
