Roswell Park to host International Selenium Workshop
BUFFALO, NY - Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI) will host an International Selenium Workshop, October 14 - 15, Research Studies Center, RPCI, Elm & Carlton Street, Buffalo, NY. Registration begins Friday at 8 am.
Organized by Youcef Rustum, PhD, Senior Vice President for Science Administration, and Clement Ip, PhD, Department of Cancer Prevention and Population Sciences, RPCI, the workshop will offer participants insights into therapeutic and current scientific research of selenium. Presentations will evaluate pre-clinical and clinical use of selenium as a selective modulator of the anticancer activity and toxicity of anticancer drugs.
