Give Your Sweetheart the Perfect Gift
For Immediate Release
February 1, 2007
BUFFALO, NY – Hearts and flowers are traditional for Valentine’s Day, but why not give your sweetheart a less conventional gift that will last a lifetime - stop smoking. Sign up for Roswell Park Cancer Institute’s (RPCI) stop smoking clinic. Do it for the special someone in your life.
Classes are held on Wednesdays, February 14, 21, and 28 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm, in the Research Studies Center at RPCI. Since the first class is on Valentine’s Day we will have a special drawing where one clinic participant will receive a $25 gift certificate to one of our great smoke-free restaurants.
The class is directed by Michael Cummings, PhD, a leading expert in smoking cessation. Eligible smokers will receive a FREE two-week starter kit of nicotine patches to help them quit and an “EX” Quit Manual which offers a step-by-step plan to break nicotine addiction.
Most local insurance plans cover the $10 clinic fee. Registration for the class is limited, so call now. To register, call (716) 845-8046.
