NCCN Recognizes Roswell Park Faculty at National Meeting

BUFFALO, NY – Two members of the Radiation Faculty at Roswell Park Cancer Institute received Fellow Awards from the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) at its 13th Annual Conference: Clinical Practice Guidelines & Quality Care, March 7, Hollywood, CA.
Susan McCloskey, MD, was honored for her proposal title, “Establishment of Methodologies for the Use of Administrative Insurance Claims in Case Identification and Evaluation of Care Delivered to Newly Diagnosed Prostate Cancer Patients.”
Kilian Salerno May, MD, received the award for his proposal titled “On Target? A Quality Initiative to Evaluate Accuracy of Electronic Portal Imaging for Set-up Verification in Radiotherapy.”
These proposals were judged to best support the NCCN mission of improving the quality or outcome or effectiveness of care provided to patients with cancer. Each recipient will receive a $5,000 research grant to pursue the proposed research.
