RPCI Faculty to Address National Cancer Conference

BUFFALO, NY— Myron S. Czuczman, MD, and Brahm Segal, MD, both in the Department of Medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), have been invited to join a roster of distinguished speakers at the Second Annual Congress on Hematologic Malignancies, September 14-15, 2007, in New York City. They will address the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) conference on September 15.
Dr. Czuczman, Chief of the Lymphoma/Myeloma Service, will speak on non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, specifically “Mantle Cell Lymphoma,” at 8:35 am; and Dr. Segal, Chief of the Division of Infectious Disease, will discuss “Managing Infections in Patients with Hematologic Malignancies,” at 11:45 am.
The program is designed to keep oncologists, hematologists and other health care workers, including physicians, nurses and pharmacists abreast of new approaches that have been incorporated into patient care, include the use of drugs, biologics and diagnostics.
