Two New Faculty Join Roswell Park BUFFALO, NY − Rodolfo Gebhardt, MD, has joined the faculty of the Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine, and Peter McQuiller, MD, was appointed a staff physician in the Department of Medicine at Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI).

Dr. Gebhardt will focus his clinical practice on surgical anesthesia with an emphasis in regional anesthesia and surgical procedures. He comes to RPCI from the Western New York Veterans Administration Hospital where he served as a consultant in Pain Medicine and Anesthesiology. He also is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University at Buffalo.

Dr. Gebhardt earned his medical degree from the University Francisco Marroquin, Guatemala (1995), and completed residency training in anesthesiology (2000) and a fellowship in pain medicine (2001) at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He is certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology.

Dr. Gebhardt’s research interests include pain management. He is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists and the New York State Society of Anesthesiologists.

Dr. McQuiller, has been appointed staff physician in the Department of Medicine at RPCI. He earned his medical degree (1997) and completed his residency training (2003) from the University at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences. Dr. McQuiller’s research interests focus on immunological therapies as a potential treatment for certain cancers including lymphoma and leukemia.
