Roswell Park Hosts Clinical Course on Flow Cytometry
BUFFALO, NY – The principles of flow cytometry will be the focus of the 18th Annual Clinical Course on Flow Cytometry hosted by Roswell Park Cancer Institute (RPCI), July 24 – 29, 2005, Research Studies Center, RPCI, Elm & Carlton Street, Buffalo, NY.
Organized by Carleton Stewart, PhD, and Paul K. Wallace, PhD, the course offers hands-on laboratory and computer work as well as lectures on a variety of general and advanced topics.
Participants will gain an understanding of the principles of flow cytometry and up-to-date knowledge of the ways in which flow cytometry can be applied to an array of clinical problems. Examples include leukemia and lymphoma phenotyping, assays to detect fetal cells in maternal blood and analysis of specimens for microbiology.
