Roswell Park Cancer Institute Board Appointment

BUFFALO, NY – New York State Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver has appointed June W. Hoeflich to a three-year term as a member of the Board of Directors of Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corporation (RPCI).

Ms. Hoeflich is a retired Senior Vice President and Credit Audit Manager for Group Audit USA, a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC Bank USA. In this capacity, she oversaw an independent management function that provides internal credit auditing to HSBC Bank’s Company and Group function. She also has served with HSBC as Senior Vice President/Commercial Executive for Asset-Based Lending (1999-2001), Vice President/Manager Commercial Loan Underwriting (1994-1999), Vice President/Manager Financial Business Training (1991-1994), Vice President/District Commercial Manager (1989-1991) and Assistant Vice President/Senior Credit Training Officer (1986-1989).

Ms. Hoeflich earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University at Buffalo (UB) and a Master of Business Administration from Canisius College. She is a member of numerous professional and community organizations including, among others, The Risk Management Association, UB (Foundation Trustee), Erie Community College Foundation, Grace Manor Health Care Facility, Sheehan Memorial Hospital, Buffalo Niagara Economic Development Corporation, and the Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers. She also is active in a number of philanthropic and cultural organizations and has received numerous awards for outstanding leadership.
