Member of the Roswell Park Board of Directors Re-Appointed
BUFFALO, NY – New York State Governor George E. Pataki has re-appointed Hugh M. Russ, III, to the Board of Directors of Roswell Park Cancer Institute Corporation (RPCI). His first full three-year term will expire January 6, 2008.
Mr. Russ, a Partner with HodgsonRuss Attorneys, LLP, is an active trial lawyer who concentrates his practice on business litigation.
Mr. Russ is a member of the Erie County Bar Association (Board of Directors and Professional Ethics Committee) and a number of nonprofit, civic, state and national organizations including the Harvard Club of Western New York (former President), Harvard Alumni Association (Regional Director) and the Roswell Park Alliance (Executive Committee). He also is a member of Compass House (former President, Board of Directors), Trinity Episcopal Church, Homespace (Board of Directors), Neighborhood Legal Services (President) and Americorps. Mr. Russ earned his Bachelor of Arts degree at Harvard University and his law degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Law.
