Position Details

Shift: Full-Time & Part-Time; Monday - Friday - 2 positions available

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have a Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of New York, Eligibility for certification by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists, Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and a Baccalaureate degree in Nursing and successful completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia program.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities:

The Nurse Anesthetist will administer anesthesia to patients undergoing a surgical procedure according to the plan defined by the attending physician. This position requires advanced experience in the administration of anesthesia to high risk oncology patients. Complex cases include prolonged abdominal surgery, thoracotomy, hepatic resection, major vascular surgery, extensive recomstructive surgery, as well as a variety of experimental procedures and robotic surgery.
