Position Details:

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday; Full-Time
Salary: $76,416 - 85,998 annually. A comprehensive benefits package is included.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and 6 months of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist in clinical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Radiation Physicist; or registered radiation therapy technologist (RRT) certification and 6 months of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist in clinical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Radiation Physicist; or graduated from a hospital or college affiliated medical dosimetry school of at least 1 year in duration and 6 months of experience as a Medical Dosimetrist in clinical dosimetry under the supervision of a Certified Medical Dosimetrist or Medical Radiation Physicist.  Current certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetry Certification Board (MDCB) is also required.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities:

This Medical Dosimetrist will plan treatment techniques by means of computer and/or manual computations that will deliver a prescribed radiation dose to a defined tumor volume, provide treatment planning for 3DCRT, IMRT, SBRT, SRS, TBI, TSEI, and other special external beam and brachytherapy procedures, participate in the dosimetry quality assurance program, and teach within the Department's Dosimetry training program (under JRCERT review for accreditation) and radiation oncology and medical physics residency programs.
