Position Details:

Shift:  Full-time; Days (7:30am - 4:00pm)

Salary:  $41,606 annually.  Includes a comprehensive benefits package.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must possess a High School diploma or G.E.D. and 8 years of full-time commercial/industrial heating, ventilation and air conditioning experience under a journey-level HVAC mechanic equivalent to training provided in an apprenticeship program.

NOTE - Apprenticeship training in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning mechanics or training gained by the completion of technical courses in heating, ventilation and air conditioning mechanics at a school, institute, or branch of the Armed Services may be substituted for the above training on a year for year basis.

The preferred candidate will have experience in refrigeration, welding, high and low pressure steam systems and/or calibrating, troubleshooting, repairing and replacing pneumatic, electric and DDC components.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities:

This Maintenance HVAC Mechanic will repair, maintain, and perform preventive maintenance duties on building heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and other similar mechanical systems.  This candidate will also assist with general maintenance activities as needed.
