Roswell Park's Information Technology Department is expanding and has many new and exciting employment opportunities for recent graduates and experienced IT professionals.  Positions available include Programmer Trainees, Programmer/Analysts, and Systems Analysts in the areas of Clinical, Research, and Financial Applications, Document Imaging, and Web Development. 

• Programmer Trainee positions are available for recent graduates to gain valuable hands-on experience while supporting the implementation, maintenance, and configuration of new and existing applications.  Traineeships lead to permanent Programmer/Analyst appointments upon successful completion of the traineeship program.
• Programmer/Analyst positions available with the Clinical and Financial Application Teams involve implementation, support, maintenance, and troubleshooting of new and existing applications.  Experience in system design and development and systems implementation, maintenance, and configuration is required.  Experience with time and attendance and/or payroll applications and the Lawson ERP system a plus.  Previous experience in a hospital environment is preferred.  Programmer/Analyst positions are also available with the Web Team.  Applicants should have proven experience in HTML, JavaScript, PHP, and object-oriented programming concepts.  Relational database experience using SQL Server 2000, MySQL, or Oracle a plus
• Systems Analysts will serve as the lead analyst/project manager for implementation of a large scale clinical data networking project.  Strong systems analysis/design and project management skills are required.  Experience in a clinical/research environment is a plus.
