The Faculty
The Center is staffed by well-trained, compassionate, experienced individuals who are sensitive to the special developmental needs of each child. Each classroom has a head teacher and an assistant teacher. Teachers continually seek to improve Center activities and programs through staff meetings, educational seminars and workshops, discussions with parents, and self-assessment. Aides, student interns and foster grandparents enhance the individual attention given to each child.
The Program
The Center meets the physical, cognitive and social/emotional needs of children, ages six weeks through five years, in a happy, safe, multicultural environment. The staff works in teams to develop daily plans for structured/unstructured, indoor/outdoor, and large/small group activities.
Parent-teacher conferences are held annually and individual conferences can be arranged by parents. Infant reports are issued daily.
