Biomedical Electronic Engineering Technician (#1087)
Position Details:
Shift: Full-time; Days (Monday - Friday, 7:30am - 4:00pm)

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess the following:
Certification Requirements
1.Certification as a Biomedical Equipment Technician, Laboratory Equipment Specialist, Radiology Equipment Specialist or Electronic Technician; or eligibility to obtain certification within 2 years of employment.
Education and Experience
1.Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or a related field and 7 years of full-time experience in advanced biomedical or laboratory equipment troubleshooting and repair, 5 years which must have been as a Senior Level Technician; or
2.Associate’s degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering Technology or a related field and 9 years of full-time experience in advanced biomedical or laboratory equipment troubleshooting and repair, 5 years which must have been as a Senior Level Technician.
Nature of Work and Responsibilities:
This Biomedical Electronic Engineering Technician will provide preventive maintenance and repair of biomedical/clinical equipment of advanced complexity. This candidate will also complete documentation of detailed and accurate reports and provide training to lower level technicians.
