Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must possess a Bachelor’s degree and the equivalent of 3 years of full-time experience in Physician Billing and Practice Management.

Nature of Work and Responsibilities:

This Billing & Revenue Cycle Analyst will monitor and assure compliance with the terms of the third party billing vendor contract, monitor and expand upon basic Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and perform fully documented and vetted reviews of the work third party billing vendors do on our behalf.  This candidate will monitor billing and follow-up procedures, compliance with HIPAA regulations, Financial Assistance policies, billing for research subjects, refund procedures, managed care auditing for correct payments, OAG requirements and best business practices and SAS 70 type elements.  Further duties will include providing guidance on new billing regulations and fee schedules and coordinating processes between third party vendors and the Patient Accounts Department.
