Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must possess a Master's degree and eight years of full-time clinical research experience, including four years in a supervisory, managerial, or executive capacity with specific experience in leading/managing teams, and an understanding of FDA, ICH, and GCP requirements. The preferred candidate has a PhD degree, progressive advancement in clinical research roles and responsibilities at a NCI designated Cancer Center and/or academic institution, and at least two years of clinical research management experience.
Nature of Work and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Vice President of Clinical Research Administration and Services will assist the Vice President of Clinical Research Administration and Services within the guidelines of the Code of Federal Regulations, International Conference on Harmonization, and Roswell Park Cancer Institute standard operating procedures to facilitate the clinical research process, manage the Clinical Research Services staff, and work toward the goal of RPCI being viewed internally and externally as a Center of Clinical Research Excellence. In addition, the Assistant Vice President will function as the direct supervisor for the Clinical Research Services Directors and Administrators, facilitate the review and approval of clinical research studies by the FDA, NCI, CTEP, and study sponsors, and work closely with the Vice President and Clinical Research Services leadership staff to determine improved processes for the department.
