Many Thanks to Our Heroes!

The Donor Center at Roswell Park would like to thank all those who participated in the "Be a Hero" donor campaign during Donor Appreciation Month. Blood and platelet donations were greatly increased during the month of January thanks to the great support from Western New Yorker’s desiring to help local cancer patients.

Roswell Park Cancer Institute would also like to thank our “Be a Hero” corporate sponsors, S & E TV and Electronics and WUTV, Fox 29 for their generous donations. The winner of the plasma screen TV was long-time platelet donor, Mary Rose Albarella. Congratulations Mary Rose!
