Roswell Park Celebrates “Women in Science”
Four leading researchers in the fight against cancer to share reflections on opportunities and progress made
WHAT’S HAPPENING:
In increasing numbers, female scientists including recent recruits to Roswell Park Cancer Institute have been leading the way in the war on cancer—the second leading cause of death in the United States. Approximately 130 donors and friends of Roswell Park Cancer Institute will gather on Thursday to hear firsthand about some of these women’s experiences, why they have devoted their careers to the cancer battle, and how they are helping to change the face of cancer research and treatment in groundbreaking ways.
