August 16 event to support Carly’s Club at Roswell Park
(BUFFALO, NY) Swimmers of all ages are invited to the seventh annual Carly’s Crossing, a unique open-water swim event to raise funds in support of Carly’s Club at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.
The event, presented by Creditors Interchange, will be held on Sunday, August 16 at Gallagher Beach on Buffalo’s waterfront and will feature one-mile and 600-yard non-competitive courses, as well as a one-mile timed swim. Plus, families, friends and other spectators are invited to join participants for a post-event party on the beach. This kid-friendly celebration features a bounce house, games, live music, food and more.
To make fundraising easier, swimmers can take advantage of a personalized web page with a secure online donation form, enabling family, friends and other supporters to pledge funds easily in support of Carly’s Club.
Swimmers ten years and older must meet a fundraising minimum of $100, and swimmers under ten must raise $75 or more to participate. Participants who raise $200 or more are eligible to swim in two courses.
Since its inception, Carly’s Crossing has raised more than $500,000 to support promising pediatric cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park. To learn more about how your support of Carly’s Crossing helps childhood cancer patients at Roswell Park, visit www.CarlysClub.org.
