Hundreds of Runners to Support Kids with Cancer at Annual Lebros 5K
Participants will raise funds for Carly’s Club at Roswell Park as community marks Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month

WHAT: September is National Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, and Lebro’s Restaurant will do their part by hosting the 21st annual Fall Classic 5K and Fun Run to support Carly’s Club at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Nearly 500 Western New York runners will attend and raise funds in support of pediatric cancer research and patient care. Participants can choose from a 5K run/walk or the family-friendly 1-mile fun run. Kids and families are encouraged to join!

5K begins: 10 am
DETAILS: Lebro’s Restaurant has a long tradition of supporting the pediatric cancer cause in Western New York: in 2001, the Fall Classic became the first community event hosted in support of Carly’s Club. Since then, the event has raised nearly $40,000 for childhood cancer research and supportive programs at Roswell Park.
Runners and their supporters will also enjoy a day of fun and entertainment at a post-race carnival featuring games, music, refreshments and more.
