WHERE: Westwood Country Club, 772 North French Road, Williamsville, NY
DETAILS: Two years ago, Stuart Scheff combined his passion for golf with his mission to support kids with cancer by completing his personal challenge to play 100 holes in a single day. He raised $17,000 that year to support Carly's Club for Kids & Cancer Research in Western New York, founded at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The golf marathon Scheff played solo two years ago has grown to 18 golfers this year, including a Carly’s Club member. These golf enthusiasts are collecting pledges and on June 18, 2007 will play 100 holes of golf at Westwood Country Club in support of Carly's Club and pediatric cancer research and patient care programs at Roswell Park.
