Financial Aid
The Department currently provides generous assistantships of $24,000 and health insurance to qualified first-year students. Support for subsequent years is provided from funds of the faculty members. Students able to procure extramural funding are rewarded with financial benefits.
The Department is the recipient of a unique National Cancer Institute sponsored pre-doctoral fellowship program in Translational Tumor Immunology, which provides additional funds for student stipends, laboratory supplies and travel for students in their second year of study. In addition all students receive a tuition scholarship, which covers tuition costs.
